Finding Ad of Zhang Jin Lan - Isabell An

Today the mailman delivered a very special package. It is the Finding Ad of Isabell. This will be great for her to have as part of her history. You will see 2 pictures. One is the full page of the local paper that published the ad. She is the fourth child from the bottom.

The fun part of this is that the little boy listed just below her is Sam Moss. Sam is in the same orphanage. His mother and I, Susan, have become friends as we share our journey to pick up our children. We hope to go together later this year.

The other picture is a close up of her article. The article reads:

Sex: Female
On July 16, 2006 at 13:50 she was found in a field in Changyinsha District, Ahangjiagang City
This baby girl was wrapped in a bath towel. She has a cleft lip.
Her birth date was July 16, 2006.
One July 16, 2006 she was sent into our institute by the Changyinsha Police Station, Zhangjiagang City

I am hoping and praying that next week the LOA (Letter of Acceptance) will arrive. From there will be the TA (Travel Authorization) and then from there Mom and I head to China.

Isabell's Room

Well, Isabell's room is pretty much done. The walls have been painted pink and pinker, the wooden valences have been put up and we got the artwork up last night. The theme is Peter Rabbit and so there are little touches of Peter and the gang around the room. On the crib is her medallion blessed by the Pope that my friend and "other mother" brought back from Rome for her. Hope you enjoy the pics. (Steven I can't thank you enough for all your help!)
